The Arriflex 235 is a lightweight, compact 35mm MOS camera designed for handheld, Steadicam, and specialty rig use. Weighing approximately 7.7 lbs (3.5 kg), it’s built for mobility while maintaining full compatibility with standard PL mount lenses and 400' coaxial magazines. The camera features a manually adjustable reflex mirror shutter ranging from 11.2° to 180°, and supports crystal-synced frame rates from 1 to 75 fps for high-speed or undercranked motion.

Equipped with an interchangeable ground glass system and standard IVS video assist, the 235 supports SD monitoring and accommodates a variety of viewing accessories. Power is provided via 24V DC, typically through a battery belt or external source.
