The Cooke Varotal/i FF Zooms bring the signature Cooke Look to full-frame cinematography, combining high resolution with natural color, smooth contrast, and flattering skin tones. Their rendering maintains fine detail without feeling overly clinical, with controlled flare, minimal distortion, and exceptionally low focus breathing for clean, unobtrusive pulls. Color-matched to Cooke S7/i FF and S8/i FF primes, they maintain a consistent look when moving between zooms and primes.

Designed for production, the series covers 19–215mm across three zooms, with a constant T2.9 aperture and full-frame coverage. A common 114mm front diameter, standardized 0.8 MOD gearing, 280° focus rotation, and Cooke /i Technology support efficient lens changes, precise focus work, and lens-data integration. The robust, compact housings balance durability with practical handling on set.
