Built for full-frame coverage, it produces an immersive, dimensional look with exaggerated perspective and strong depth. The lens can focus as close as 0.2"/6 mm from the subject and offers a 2.1:1 magnification ratio, making it ideal for capturing fine textures and small details in tight spaces. Despite its deep focus capability, it still delivers a natural falloff and smooth bokeh, especially toward the longer end of the zoom range.

Optically, the X-Tract is designed for clean, consistent performance across the frame. It controls chromatic aberration well, maintains accurate color, and keeps distortion in check throughout the zoom range. Focus breathing is minimal, and the lens holds focus while zooming, which makes it easier to reframe shots without losing sharpness.
