Solids
Solid flags and overheads use black fabric to block light completely, wherever needed. This is useful for creating contrast with negative fill or for removing unwanted light from certain areas of the frame. Most solids are made from panels of Commando Cloth, a black, 100% opaque fabric, but there are several alternatives for higher temperature lights or rougher outdoor conditions.
