K5600 Joker2 800W HMI Par Kit

The traditional Joker by K5600 has been the industry standard for powerful and controllable light sources for 25 years. In 2017, at IBC, K5600 presented the successor to their flagship design with the Joker². The knowledge they’ve gained with their two-and-a-half-decade tenure has allowed them to make upgrades to an already stellar design.

A new modern design sees a more simplified parts list and rounded edges while still emitting more lumens than any competing light source of the same wattage. The newly designed head makes use of a threaded ring to mount a clear or frosted borosilicate lamp (Beaker), allowing for a quick and toolless relamping. With its easy-to-use plug-in igniter, it converts from HMI to 2K tungsten in less than a minute. A new three-way axis stand mount and yoke design features a strengthened braking system that allows the light to remain in position even with larger light-shaping tools like light banks, soft tubes, etc. Additionally, a hook has been added to help keep lenses close to the source!

The 800W Joker² comes with a dimmable ballast, which can work at 300 or 1000Hz frequencies for High-Speed shoots. It draws only 15 amps on a 120VAC line, meaning it can be used on any available house power. The ballast also has LumenRadio wireless DMX capabilities through its use of the built-in antenna port to be controlled by your tablet or smartphone!

The Joker² 800W is the workhorse of the Joker lineup. With numerous configurations, light banks, and accessories, this light will prove to be a useful addition to your equipment regardless of setup or application!
