The FP6 HydraPanel LED Light from Astera features the compact 6.5 x 3.3 x 1.7″ panel designed for in the studio or on location. It suits film, studio, and stage applications for direct or indirect illumination of people, objects, or scenery. The adjustable color temperature ranges from 3200 to 6500K and it has a high CRI/TLCI of 96 for color accuracy. Its full-spectrum titan LED engine generates an impressive 1300 lumens output and it has a runtime of an hour and 45 minutes at maximum brightness on its built-in battery power.
The HydraPanel includes a wide range of light modifiers that can be easily clipped to the surface of the panel via four magnets. The Diffuser sheet 100, which softens the beam, and the Intensifier 80, which creates soft shadows while maintaining brightness, can each be combined with one of the 40° and 60° eggcrates, which narrow the beam spread and reduce spill light on the sides. Soft frame 100 creates soft shadows and gives the HydraPanel a consistent surface. The HydraPanel can be mounted via its included FlexBase accessory, Baby pin, or rear magnet. It has a built-in battery, so you can use it on location.
