RED DIGITAL CINEMA’s WEAPON HELIUM 8K S35 BRAIN is built around the HELIUM 8K Super 35 CMOS sensor, offering rich 8K resolution in the lightweight, modular DSMC2 carbon fiber camera body.

Bundling high-performance raw video recording in a compact camera body, the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC2 BRAIN with GEMINI 5K S35 Sensor is part of the 2018 unified DSMC2 lineup and is designed to be built up the way you want, to tell your story in almost any way possible.

Designed and engineered to meet RED’s exacting standards for superior image quality, the DSMC2 DRAGON-X camera can capture high-resolution motion and stills. It also allows you to take advantage of RED’s cinema-grade dynamic range.

RED has taken fresh steps with the release of the KOMODO 6K Digital Cinema Camera by bringing their legendary image quality and color science into an ultra-compact, all-in-one design that weighs just 2.1 lb measures about 4 x 4 x 4″.

The V-RAPTOR 8K S35 is a new addition to RED DSMC3 cameras, building on the architecture of its larger 8K VV predecessor while offering a new shooting format optimized for Super35mm lenses. This camera allows filmmakers to capture true-to-life detail with 8K resolution while utilizing the versatile range of Super35mm lenses.

Released in 2017, the Monstro 8K Vista Vision is part of the 2018 unified DSMC2 lineup and features an active pixel area of 8192 × 4320 and a maximum resolution of 8K at 24fps.

RED further advances its KOMODO line with the release of the KOMODO-X 6K, a digital cinema camera featuring faster frame rates, a redesigned S35 sensor, and an updated form including advanced video and audio interfaces. Features include enhanced shadow detail and color and frame rates up to 80 fps in 6K and up to 120p in 4K.
