True Lens Services (TLS) modernized this rehoused zoom, seamlessly integrating classic glass into contemporary, demanding production workflows. TLS has replaced the original photography housing with an incredibly robust PL-mount body featuring a precise, cam-driven focus mechanism, zero focus shift, and a true parfocal zoom design that holds focus perfectly across the entire range. Complete with standard 0.8 pitch gears, a mattebox-friendly 95mm front diameter, and an expansive 45mm–53mm image circle that natively covers large-format sensors like the ARRI Alexa Mini LF and RED V-Raptor, this lens offers DPs the perfect blend of modern reliability and striking vintage aesthetics.
